The NewPath Child & Family Solutions Therapist is responsible for providing therapeutic trauma-informed clinical services to individual clients and identified support caregivers and/or family members while focusing on meeting the client's individual mental health needs.
Location: This is a school based position in Butler County - New Miami Schools
*NewPath offers a $4,000 sign-on bonus! *
(*$2500 on first check; $1500 after 6 months of continuous employment.
If employment ends prior to 6 months, the first payment of $2500 is due back to the agency)

Your Role:
Provide mental health services to clients via therapy sessions within the New Miami School System while following required service guidelines.
Create treatment plans in conjunction with the youth and their family based on recommended Care Pathways and Plan for Services.
Work cooperatively with the New Path treatment team and schedule identified supportive individuals, guardians, case workers, family members, and community partners in the treatment planning and review process.
Develop transition plans that address ongoing treatment needs.
Complete documentation collaboratively with youth using Carelogic EHS.
Attend psychiatric medical consults with clients as clinically indicated.
Achieve weekly clinical service hours according to Care Pathway needs of clients.
Deliver culturally competent services to clients.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in a Human Service-related field from an accredited college.
Professional license (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, LMFT) in good standing at all times to provide clinical services.
Previous mental health therapy experience with an understanding of various mental health diagnoses, may include internship experience.
Experience providing services to a diverse population of clients.
Initiative and ability to work independently.
Strong organizational, writing and documentation skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in crisis situation.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance with no more than 5 points on your MVR.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check & drug screen.
