We have an excellent full-time opportunity for an emergency medicine physician
to join our dynamic team Mimbres Valley Medical Center in Deming, New Mexico.
Nestled in the breathtaking desert landscape of southwestern New Mexico, Deming

About Mimbres Valley Emergency Department
* Annual patient volume of 12,000
* 9-bed ED
* EMR: MedHost
* 24 hours of physician coverage
Position Requirements
* Board prepared or board certified in EM through American Board of Emergency
Medicine (ABEM), American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM)
* Will also consider those boarded in the American Board of Internal Medicine
- (ABIM), American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM), American
- Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), or American Osteopathic Board of Family
- Medicine (AOBFM) with emergency medicine experience
* If ABEM boarded, no certifications required; if ABEM eligible, or IM or FM
boarded ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required
* New Mexico medical license or ability to obtain prior to start date

* Independent contractor (1099) status

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients at the Mimbres Valley Medical Center emergency department. Collaborate with a dynamic team to ensure compassionate and efficient patient treatment.
Requirements
Must be board prepared or certified in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine. Requires active New Mexico medical license and current certifications in ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
