Job Description
DESCRIPTION
Opportunity for a physician to join our ED team at Castleview Hospital in Price,
Utah. This 49-bed hospital has a 10-bed ED that sees an annual volume of 11,000
per year. Physicians work 12-hour shifts. This is an accredited Chest Pain
Center as well as a Stroke Receiving facility. There is specialty support for
surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, ENT, pediatrics, and urology. Requirements include
board-eligible or board-certified physicians in emergency medicine or primary
care with ED experience.

Castleview Hospital serves Carbon and Emery counties and the surrounding area
with inpatient and outpatient services at its 39-bed facility and physician
practices. The hospital also includes Emery Medical Center – a family practice
and urgent care clinic in Castle Dale, Utah and an Urgent Care in Price, UT.
Castleview Hospital maintains a Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission,
is an Accredited Chest Pain Center, a Stroke designated facility, a LifePoint
Health National Quality Leader and has been named a Top 100 and Top 20 rural and
community hospital several times.
Set in a rural area, surrounded by the Manti La Sal Mountain range, makes for a

Key Responsibilities
The staff physician will join the emergency department team to provide medical care during 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities include managing patient flow and providing clinical support in an accredited Chest Pain and Stroke receiving facility.
Requirements
Candidates must be board-eligible or board-certified in emergency medicine or primary care. Previous emergency department experience is required for this role.
