Job Description
Pharmacy Clinical Pharmacist– Clinical Program Support This is a Hybrid position. Candidates based within 50 miles of any US Cigna Healthcare office will be required to work in-office 3 days per week, the other 2 days may be from home if preferred. Locations listed in this posting are preferred, but all locations within the United States will be considered. Role Summary: The Clinical Pharmacist role reports to the Cigna Pharmacy Clinical Program Support team with a primary focus on delivering on clinical research, drug formulary maintenance and regulatory responsibilities aligned to the Cigna Healthcare US Employer formularies. This role provides clinical expertise and day-to-day support while partnering across a highly matrixed environment of business partners including Formulary Strategy, Clinical Operations, Compliance, Legal, Account Management and others.

Provide clinical administrative support to understand and report out drug changes for the Cigna National Preferred Formulary Research drug and report out drug data such as pipeline medications, drug shortages and drug discontinuations. Prepare summary and audit files due to Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee and other quality oversight committees. Review and respond to state and federal mandates to assess business impact and educate on formulary structure and benefit set up. Coordinate with stakeholders to respond to RFP inquiries. Monitor the team email box and respond to stakeholder inquiries about formulary design. May be asked to develop and present formulary strategies. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 120,000 - 200,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
