Job Description
The Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) leads, inspires, and empowers team members in accordance with the Company’s goals and serves patients with the best possible pharmaceutical care. The PIC is responsible for improving efficiencies, growing the pharmacy business, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and maintaining positive relationships with all internal and external colleagues. The PIC oversees and directly handles physician calls, logging data into the computer, performing Rx workflow processing, transferring prescriptions, and conducting drug utilization reviews.
This is a full-time opportunity for our new pharmacy located at 15 N. Morris (Portland, OR).

The pharmacy will open in December and the PIC is expected to start by 12/1/2026.

The position offers a consistent Monday - Friday from 9am-5:30pm.
About the Role
Manages the daily operations of the pharmacy, always maintaining the highest quality of pharmaceutical services
- Fosters business growth and controls expenses for the pharmacy
- Ensures compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of pharmacy
- Properly dispenses, orders, and maintains proper inventory of drugs and supplies
- Collaborates with physicians to discuss potential incompatibility issues with patient prescriptions
- Directs and performs pharmacy activities and manages workflow efficiency
- Keeps abreast of changing laws, regulations, and new pharmacy-related programs
Consults with clinic providers, administrators, and other personnel as appropriate to provide quality patient care and efficient operations
- Maintains patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA
- Upholds a clean, customer-friendly workplace, and always project a positive attitude
Maintains a high level of professionalism consistent with company standards, including dress, personal appearance, and grooming
- Pharmacy hours: Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm.

About You
- Bachelor’s or Doctoral (PharmD) degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university
- 2+ years of full-time retail or clinic pharmacy experience preferred
- Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) experience preferred
- Pharmacist license in good standing in the State of Oregon
- 340B experience preferred
- AAHIVP certification preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, customer-service, managerial, and communication skills
- Proactive self-starter with high degree of initiative and strong follow-up skills
- Able to efficiently mentor, motivate, and manage pharmacy staff while fostering positive customer relations
- Available to work full-time Monday through Friday during pharmacy's operating hours

- Pay range: $130,000 - $155,000, based on credentials and geographic location.
