Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals recovering from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. In this role, you'll build meaningful therapeutic relationships, collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team, and help clients achieve lasting recovery and improved mental wellness.

What You'll Do
- Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each client
- Conduct individual, group, family, and couples therapy sessions
- Manage a caseload and oversee clients' clinical care throughout treatment
- Assess client progress and modify treatment interventions as needed
- Provide crisis intervention, prevention, and de-escalation when necessary
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
- Collaborate with the Clinical Director, treatment team, and family members to ensure coordinated care
- Develop aftercare and discharge recommendations to support long-term recovery
- Model professionalism, integrity, accountability, dignity, and respect in every client interaction
What We're Looking For
- Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
Active state licensure or certification required to practice in this role - LCSW, LCPC, LGPC, CAC-AD, CSC-AD, ADT
- Strong clinical judgment and observational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and strict confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Experience working in behavioral health, mental health, addiction treatment, or residential treatment settings
- Experience facilitating group therapy

Key Responsibilities
