Job description

position is $29.00-$45.79 based on direct and relevant experience. 

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a C-arm/Radiologic Technologist to join our team.
As a C-arm/Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating
assigned equipment to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic
purposes.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. Shifts are Monday-Friday
rotating daytime shifts: 6:00am-2:30pm, 7:00am-3:30pm, 7:30am-4:00pm,
8:00am-4:30pm shift with intermittent help on 3:00pm-11:00pm shifts as needed;
every 4th weekend rotation; every 3rd holiday rotation; intermittent on-call
shifts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(90%) C-arm/Special Procedures Imaging

1. Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions
pertaining to examination, using two patient identifiers to ensure the
correct patient and procedure.
2. Explains and prepares patients for imaging procedures that will be
performed; clearly explaining the procedure and positioning patients so
that the correct parts of their body can be appropriately imaged.
3. Performs routine and advanced c-arm imaging procedures on designated
portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating
of patient illness and/or injury, with minimal amount of supervision, while
providing continuous patient support.
4. Produces diagnostic images in assigned/designated area.
5. Adjusts x-ray and c-arm parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose
reduction techniques as appropriate.

7. Follows physicians’ orders precisely, conforms to safety regulations and
accurately maintains records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
8. Maintains an orderly and clean work area, including equipment, promoting
good safety habits for patients and team members.
9. Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
10. Performs quality control tasks as assigned.

(5%) Department Support

1. Participates in team meetings with team member involvement
2. Assists in updating & maintaining all radiographic & C-arm protocols.
3. Answers department phone calls

(5%) Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

1. High School diploma, or equivalent
2. ARRT registered technologist; must be current and in good standing
3. Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of
radiography
4. Licensed Radiological Technologist, if required by the state(s) you work in
(as applicable)
5. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification; must be current and
maintained
6. Documented training and applicable experience at a level to competently and
independently perform C-arm procedures under the supervision of a provider
