Key Responsibilities
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will perform psychiatric evaluations, manage medications, and provide advanced clinical nursing care as part of a multidisciplinary team. They are also responsible for ordering diagnostic tests, performing crisis interventions, and coordinating care with families and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program and be licensed as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in New York State. Additionally, they must possess a valid DEA registration and be registered as a NY State Medicaid provider.
