A healthcare organization in New Hartford is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Radiologist to join a collaborative medical team that provides medical team providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Position Overview

The Radiologist will interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies and collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to assist in the diagnosis and management of patient conditions.

The position may include a combination of diagnostic radiology responsibilities with opportunities to participate in procedural or subspecialty imaging, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and other imaging modalities
• Provide timely and accurate diagnostic reports to referring physicians
• Consult with physicians regarding imaging findings and patient care recommendations
• Perform image-guided procedures when appropriate
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and imaging protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Collaborate with technologists, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure quality patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings

Requirements

General Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
• Completion of an accredited residency program in diagnostic radiology
• Eligible for or able to obtain a New York medical license
• Strong diagnostic and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in diagnostic radiology practice
• Fellowship training or interest in subspecialty areas such as interventional radiology, neuroradiology, or musculoskeletal imaging
