Regional Pharmacist – Missouri
BLUE Springs/Kansas City
- COLUMBIA
- ST. LOUIS
$150,000–$170,000 annual salary | Full-time | Regional travel | Employee-owned pharmacy
Three Pharmacies. One Mission. An Extraordinary Opportunity.
Looking for more than just another pharmacist position? This could be the career move you’ve been waiting for.
At Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy, we’re building a different kind of pharmacy organization—one where pharmacists are respected, relationships matter, and exceptional patient care comes first. We’re growing and looking for an outstanding Regional Pharmacist to support our Missouri teams in Blue Springs, Columbia, and St. Louis.
This isn’t your typical floating pharmacist position. You’ll become a trusted resource across three pharmacy teams: covering planned PTO, helping onboard new patients and care organizations, and supporting the people who depend on our pharmacies every day.
Why Pharmacists Choose Neighborhood
Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy is a growing, 100% employee-owned long-term care pharmacy organization. We combine the resources of a growing organization with the personal service, accountability, and relationships of a neighborhood pharmacy.
- Exceptional pay: $150,000–$170,000 annual base salary
- Employee ownership opportunity through our ESOP, subject to plan eligibility.
- Meaningful care for patients and care organizations that depend on reliable medication services.
- Variety and strong relationships across three established local pharmacy teams.
- Professional respect and opportunities in operations, quality assurance, training, and leadership.
- Support for approved business travel expenses under company policy.
- What You’ll Do
- Support Our Missouri Pharmacy Teams
Provide pharmacist coverage in Blue Springs, Columbia, and St. Louis according to operational needs, including PTO, vacations, staffing transitions, and high-volume periods. Collaborate with local Pharmacists-in-Charge and technicians to maintain safe, consistent operations.
Welcome New Patients and Care Partners
Support medication profile reviews, prescription processing, order verification, workflow preparation, and coordination associated with onboarding new patients and care organizations. Help make each transition accurate, organized, and reassuring.
Make Great Teams Even Better
Share best practices, assist with training, support quality improvement, and help colleagues solve operational challenges while respecting each location’s leadership and accountability.
Deliver Outstanding Pharmacy Care
- Review and verify prescriptions and medication orders for safety, appropriateness, and accuracy.
- Identify and resolve clinical and medication-related concerns.
- Communicate effectively with prescribers, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
- Support medication safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
What Your Schedule Will Look Like
This position supports all three Missouri locations, but time will not be divided equally. Assignments will depend on planned PTO, new-patient onboarding, and evolving operational priorities. We strive to provide thoughtful scheduling and advance notice whenever practical; flexibility and regular regional travel are essential. Approved mileage, lodging, and meal expenses are handled under company policy.
Who Will Thrive Here
The ideal candidate is more than a great pharmacist—they’re a great teammate. You might come from long-term care, or you might be a strong retail pharmacist ready for a more relationship-driven environment.
- Excellent clinical judgment, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Dependability, adaptability, and comfort joining different pharmacy teams.
- A positive, solutions-oriented attitude and clear communication.
- Ownership of responsibilities, with follow-through and respect for local leaders.
- A genuine commitment to patients, caregivers, and coworkers.
