Nocturnist Physician at Duke Raleigh Hospital

Duke Raleigh Hospital is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join our nationally recognized Hospital Medicine team. This role will be based at our Duke Raleigh campus, which is a 230-bed facility with an average census of around the 200s in 2025. The hospital medicine census is around 70% of the hospital census.

Position Highlights

• Provide nighttime care for hospitalized adult patients at our Duke Raleigh campus
• Closed ICU, no procedures expected, 12 shifts/month
• Schedule is flexible, usually a 5-9-day block with a similar number of days off
• Candidate Qualifications
• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency
• BC/BE in Internal Medicine
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in North Carolina
