Job Description
Greater Portland Health is looking for an independently licensed behavioral health clinician (full licensure is required - LCSW, LCPC).
The population served is primarily people experiencing homelessness. The team is mobile and will primary connect with patients in the community via our mobile medical van, with the goal of engaging patients in a low barrier environment.
- Master’s degree in social work and licensed as a Clinical Social Worker by the State of Maine required.
- Excellent working knowledge of behavioral medicine and evidence-based treatments for medical and mental health conditions.
- Competence in emergency assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of various psychiatric/chemical dependencies to adequately meet position requirements.
- Competency for adults, geriatrics, and disability-based for chemical dependency required.

Key Responsibilities
Provide behavioral health services to individuals experiencing homelessness through a mobile medical van. Conduct emergency assessments, interventions, and evaluations for psychiatric and chemical dependency conditions.
Requirements
Requires a Master's degree in social work and an independent clinical license (LCSW or LCPC) in the State of Maine. Candidates must possess strong knowledge of evidence-based treatments and experience with diverse populations including adults and geriatrics.
