Job Description
Greater Portland Health is looking for an independently licensed behavioral health clinician (full licensure is required - LCSW, LCPC, LADC).
The population served is primarily people experiencing homelessness. The team is mobile and will primary connect with patients in the community via our mobile medical van, with the goal of engaging patients in a low barrier environment.
The part-time schedule would include Mondays 12-7pm, Wednesdays 8-430pm, and Thursdays 8-430pm.
- Master’s degree in social work and licensed as a Clinical Social Worker by the State of Maine required.
- Excellent working knowledge of behavioral medicine and evidence-based treatments for medical and mental health conditions.
- Competence in emergency assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of various psychiatric/chemical dependencies to adequately meet position requirements.
- Competency for adults, geriatrics, and disability-based for chemical dependency required.

Key Responsibilities
The clinician will provide behavioral health services to individuals experiencing homelessness as part of a mobile medical team. They will engage patients in community settings to provide emergency assessments, planning, and interventions for psychiatric and chemical dependency needs.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in social work and possess an independent clinical license (LCSW, LCPC, or LADC) in the State of Maine. Proficiency in evidence-based treatments and emergency psychiatric assessment is required.
