Key Responsibilities
The pharmacist is responsible for compounding and dispensing prescribed medications while consulting with medical staff on drug interactions and patient history. They also provide medication guidance to patients and ensure all pharmacy data is accurately recorded in compliance with hospital regulations.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy and be licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Additionally, current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
