Working closely with fellow hospitalists, nursing, specialists, and hospital leadership, this physician will deliver exceptional care to children and families while contributing to the quality, coordination, and continued development of the Pediatric Hospitalist Program.

This predominantly clinical role combines hands-on pediatric hospitalist practice with a focused commitment of 10 administrative hours per month. Responsibilities include:

Provide high-quality, family-centered inpatient pediatric care through regularly scheduled Pediatric Hospitalist shifts, including care coordination and transitions of care.

Collaborate with hospitalists, nursing, and specialists to support continuity of care, clinical quality, and patient safety.

Dedicate 10 hours per month to Medical Director responsibilities, including program operations, clinical standards, and quality improvement initiatives.

Support physician mentorship, recruitment, onboarding, and professional development.

Serve as a liaison with community pediatricians, specialists, and hospital leadership to strengthen collaboration and program effectiveness.

Provide input on program priorities and participate in relevant meetings and committees within allocated administrative time.

The Position Requirements

We are seeking a Board-Certified Pediatrician with hospital-based clinical experience, a commitment to excellent inpatient care, and an interest in contributing to a collaborative pediatric hospitalist program.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of post-training clinical experience, a strong commitment to patient- and family-centered care, and demonstrated ability to provide thoughtful, collaborative, and effective physician leadership.

Compensation & Benefits

This is an employed position through Prima Medical Group, offering a competitive base salary of $275,000–$320,000, commensurate with experience and guaranteed for the first two years, with additional productivity-based incentive compensation.

Benefits include recruitment incentives; medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k) and retirement plan with employer contribution; long-term disability and life insurance; and an employee assistance program.
