About the Role

Join Chadron Community Hospital, Corp. as a Respiratory Therapist – PRN, Flexible Schedule in United States. Description PRN/Casual, 0-19 hours a week, no guarantee of hours, flexible scheduling. Potential Hours: Monday-Friday Possibly on-call, if scheduling allows This is a non-benefited position.

Key Responsibilities

Therapeutic Gases: Administer oxygen via cannula, simple mask, catheter, venti-mask, non-rebreathing mask, isolette, infant hood and oxygen tanks.

Aerosol and Humidity Therapy: Administer prescribed medications via inhalation.

Induce sputum specimen form patient for lab work.

Administer high humidity therapy including croup tents, hand held nebulizers, heated aerosol treatments Providing Pulmonary Ventilation: Administer IPPB treatments as prescribed.

Requirements

Education: Graduate of accredited Respiratory Care Program.

Licensure/Certifications: Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner of Nebraska without restrictions.

Experience: None required, but preferred.

On the job training available.

Work Schedule

Per Diem position.

Call responsibilities required.

No weekends required.

Flexible scheduling available.
