We're seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our Pain Management team who is
passionate about patient care, enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical
environment, and wants to be part of a collaborative team focused on excellence.

The Team

Pain Management at OrthoVirginia focuses on providing advanced, minimally
invasive pain relief procedures to help patients manage chronic pain and improve
their quality of life. Our patient-centered approach ensures personalized care
tailored to everyone's unique needs, potentially delaying or preventing the need
for surgery. Our team is dedicated to fast-tracking patients to recovery by
treating all types of pain with a comprehensive range of interventional
procedures. Our pain doctors are committed to delivering specialized medical
care and treatment plans focused on the needs of the patient. Our goal is to
help our patients return to their daily activities quickly and safely. 

The Role

As a Radiology Technologist at OrthoVirginia, you’ll perform diagnostic imaging
procedures with precision and care, always prioritizing patient safety and
comfort. You will demonstrate proficiency in operating radiological equipment
while leveraging your strong knowledge of human anatomy and pathology to produce
accurate, high-quality digital images of bones and tissues. Attention to detail
is key as you will be reviewing images for technical accuracy and anatomical
orientation.  

The ideal candidate will be proactive and adaptable, with a strong commitment to
maintaining a collaborative and efficient team environment. We are looking for

In this role, you’ll be responsible for safely and compliantly operating X-ray
technologies, minimizing radiation exposure, and ensuring optimal equipment
functionality. As a vital part of our team, you will play an essential role in
contributing to improved patient outcomes through your skills in imaging and
your dedication to safety and excellence.  

Primary Functions & Accountabilities

* Prepare patients for radiological procedures, ensuring patient comfort and
safety.  
* Follow established protocols for patient care, safety, and radiological
procedures.  
* Minimize radiation exposure by adhering to industry standards and best
practices.  
* Obtain high-quality radiographs within an efficient timeframe while
maintaining patient confidentiality.  
* Process and accurately digitize radiographic images, ensuring correct patient
data is linked.  
* Prepare examination rooms for radiographic procedures, ensuring a clean,
sterile, and organized environment.  
* Review radiographic exams for technical accuracy and ensure correct
anatomical orientation of images.  
* Regularly check radiographic equipment for optimal functioning and compliance
with legal and regulatory standards.  
* Demonstrate knowledge of radiation safety practices and operate radiographic
equipment safely and efficiently.  
* Assist with additional duties as needed, maintaining flexibility and a
proactive attitude. 

Qualifications

* At least 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience preferred  
* Current Virginia Radiologic Technologist License required  
* ARRT Certification required  
* Ability to operate C-arm equipment safely and effectively.

Compensation Range for this position

$28.08 - $42.12

Compensation for this role will be based on several factors, including the
candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills,
certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.
