Key Responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive medical assessments, treatment, and ongoing management for adults in substance use disorder recovery. Key duties include managing withdrawal, prescribing MAT/MOUD medications, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited NP program, national board certification, and a current Iowa ARNP license. Required certifications include BLS, DEA registration, and Iowa controlled-substance prescribing authority.
