Occupational Therapist / Occupational Therapy Assistant

PYG Therapy is seeking Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to provide pediatric therapy services in patients' homes throughout Arizona.

Compensation

* Occupational Therapist: $64–$92 per hour

* Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant: $46–$75 per hour

* Rates vary based on experience, location, and employment classification

* Full-time, part-time, and independent contractor positions available

* Caseloads can be tailored to clinician availability

Position Responsibilities

Occupational Therapist

* Provide occupational therapy services to pediatric patients in the home

* Complete evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

* Provide therapeutic interventions based on patient needs and established goals

* Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans as appropriate

* Complete required clinical documentation accurately and within required timeframes

* Educate parents and caregivers on strategies that support carryover at home

* Communicate with caregivers and other members of the care team

* Participate in care coordination as needed

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

* Provide occupational therapy treatment to pediatric patients in the home

* Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist

* Provide therapeutic activities based on patient goals and needs

* Document treatment sessions and patient progress

* Support development of functional skills and independence

* Educate caregivers on activities and strategies that support treatment goals

* Communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist regarding patient progress and concerns

* Collaborate with caregivers and other members of the care team

Schedule

PYG Therapy offers scheduling options for clinicians with a variety of availability.

Opportunities may include

* Full-time W-2 employment

* Part-time W-2 employment

* 1099 independent contractor arrangements

* Approximately 8–25 visits per week, depending on position and availability

* Pediatric home health assignments throughout Arizona

Our scheduling team assists with identifying appropriate patient opportunities based on clinician availability and service area.

Qualifications

Occupational Therapist

* Current Arizona Occupational Therapy license

* Current CPR certification

* AHCCCS provider ID

* Article 9 certification

* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

* Ability to provide services in a home-based setting

* Strong communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

* Current Arizona COTA/OTA license

* Current CPR certification

* Article 9 certification

* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

* Ability to provide services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

* Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Experience

Pediatric or home health experience is preferred but not required.

New graduates and clinicians transitioning into pediatric home health are welcome to apply.
