AIM is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist to join our team and make a meaningful impact in a K-12 school program.

  • KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: As a Physical Therapist at AIM, you will:
  • Evaluate and treat students, enhancing their ability to navigate the school environment and engage with peers.

Serve as a vital member of the IEP team, facilitating goals and objectives aligned with each child's educational plan.

  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to driving positive outcomes for students.
  • Exhibit collaborative professionalism with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, teachers, and school administrators.
  • Previous school-based experience is a plus, but not required.
  • RESPONSIBILITIES: Your role as a Physical Therapist will encompass:
  • Providing individualized instruction to students on the caseload, ensuring their unique needs are met.
  • Developing schedules aligned with the goals of each student.
  • Offering consultation and assistance to staff regarding the implementation of skills in the classroom.
  • Establishing open and frequent communication with parents and related service staff.
  • Making recommendations for time needed to implement goals.
  • Participating in appropriate staff meetings and maintaining a positive atmosphere for students and staff.
  • Conducting assessments, providing direct instructional services, and attending 504 or ARD meetings.
  • Engaging in regular consultation with school staff or other AIM team members.
