Key Responsibilities
The clinician performs prospective and concurrent utilization reviews to determine medical necessity for mental health and substance use authorization requests. They also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and medical directors to support members and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an unrestricted California license such as LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PhD/PsyD, or RN with behavioral health experience. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a managed care or clinical setting is required.
