The Behavioral Health Specialist assists in the direct care and management of patients with medical and behavioral issues under the supervision of nursing staff. They also facilitate unit programming, including therapy carryover, leisure activities, and activities of daily living.
The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a bachelor's degree or college coursework in healthcare or mental health. Candidates should have or be willing to obtain CPR and Handle With Care certifications.
