The Behavioral Health Specialist conducts comprehensive assessments, provides technical assistance to the interdisciplinary team, and monitors member outcomes. They also coordinate psychiatric treatment, assist with discharge planning, and help develop less restrictive care plans for members.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling and possess at least 3 years of experience in behavioral health services. Preferred qualifications include licensure such as LCSW, LPC, APSW, or LPC-IT, along with experience in mental health or substance use disorder case management.
