Key Responsibilities

• will work across the acute wards, providing assessment and management of adult patients with communication, swallowing, and cognitive‑communication impairments.

• implement appropriate evidence‑based interventions in a dynamic acute care environment.

• manage swallowing and communication impairments in medically complex patients.

• manage competing priorities in a fast-paced acute environment.

Requirements

• Work collaboratively within speech pathology and multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic, patient‑centred care.

• Demonstrate strong time‑management and organisational skills, including efficient caseload prioritisation.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical and non‑clinical activities.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and service development activities as required.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $39.86 - $58.59/hr

Work Schedule

• Per Diem position.
