Job Description

  • Physical Therapist (PT) – PRN
  • Indian Lake Rehabilitation Center | Lakeview, OH
  • Flexible PRN Opportunity | Weekday Coverage | Indian Lake & Logan County
  • PTs in the Indian Lake and Bellefontaine area—we'd love to meet you!
  • AdvantageCare Rehabilitation is looking for a PRN Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team at Indian Lake Rehabilitation Center in Lakeview, Ohio.
  • And if you saw "Lakeview" and immediately thought it was too far away—take another look.

Indian Lake Rehabilitation Center is located in Logan County near Indian Lake, making this an opportunity worth considering for Physical Therapists throughout Lakeview, Russells Point, Huntsville, Bellefontaine and the surrounding communities.

If you're looking for flexible PRN hours, additional income, or simply a way to add some variety to your current schedule, this could be a great fit.

  • PRN Should Actually Be Flexible.
  • Maybe you already have a full-time job.
  • Maybe you've stepped away from a traditional full-time schedule.
  • Maybe you want to keep treating without committing to another 40-hour workweek.
  • Or maybe you'd simply like to pick up additional hours when they work for you.
  • That's exactly where PRN can make sense.
  • We're looking for a Physical Therapist who can provide weekday PRN coverage and become a trusted part of our Indian Lake rehab team.

Why PTs Choose AdvantageCare

  • AdvantageCare Rehabilitation has been providing rehabilitation services for more than 23 years, and we're proud to be therapist-founded and therapist-led.
  • Therapy isn't just another service line for us.
  • It's what we do.

That means we understand the importance of clinical judgment, collaboration, communication and allowing therapists to focus on what they were trained to do—help people regain function and independence.

As a PRN PT with AdvantageCare, You'll Find

Flexibility. PRN work should complement your life and existing commitments—not take them over.

Clinical autonomy. We value your training, experience and professional judgment.

A team environment. PRN doesn't mean you're just filling a hole on the schedule. You're part of the rehabilitation team.

Meaningful patient relationships. Work with an adult and geriatric population where you can see the impact of skilled therapy.

Interdisciplinary collaboration. Work alongside OT, SLP, nursing and other members of the care team.

An established rehabilitation company. AdvantageCare has more than two decades of experience supporting therapists and the communities we serve.

What Will You Do as a PRN Physical Therapist?

As a Physical Therapist, you'll evaluate and treat individuals with a variety of mobility and functional needs while developing individualized treatment plans designed to help each person achieve the greatest level of independence possible.

Your Role May Include

  • Performing comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations
  • Developing individualized plans of care and functional goals
  • Addressing strength, balance, endurance and mobility
  • Providing gait and transfer training
  • Improving safety and reducing fall risk
  • Providing therapeutic exercise and functional activities
  • Recommending and training patients in appropriate assistive devices
  • Educating patients, families and caregivers
  • Collaborating with PTAs and the interdisciplinary care team
  • Monitoring progress and modifying treatment plans as clinically appropriate
  • Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation

Why Indian Lake Rehabilitation Center?

Indian Lake Rehabilitation Center is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation community in Lakeview, Ohio, giving Physical Therapists the opportunity to work with adults and older adults with a variety of rehabilitation needs.

Patients may need therapy following hospitalization, surgery, illness, injury, weakness, falls or a decline in mobility and independence.

  • For a Physical Therapist, that means your work has a very tangible purpose:
  • Helping someone walk farther.
  • Helping someone transfer more safely.
  • Helping reduce their risk of falling.
  • Helping someone regain enough strength and mobility to do more for themselves—or potentially return home.
  • That's the kind of work that reminds you why you became a PT.

Experienced Physical Therapist? We'd Love Your Expertise.

If you've been practicing for years and want to supplement your current position with PRN hours, we'd love to talk.

Your experience, clinical judgment and ability to step into a rehab environment and make an impact are valuable.

Newer PT? You're Welcome Here, Too.

You don't need 10 years of experience to make a difference.

If you're a newer Physical Therapist interested in gaining additional experience with geriatric rehabilitation, skilled nursing and medically complex patients, PRN work can be an excellent way to broaden your clinical experience.

We're looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, clinically driven and ready to be part of the team.

What We're Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current or eligible Ohio Physical Therapist license
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Patient-centered approach to rehabilitation
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
  • Dependable availability for agreed-upon PRN coverage
  • Skilled nursing or geriatric experience is a plus, but not required

Already Working Somewhere Else? That's Okay.

You don't have to be actively searching for a new full-time job to talk with us.

If you're a PT working in Bellefontaine, Sidney, Lima or another surrounding community and have room in your schedule for occasional PRN hours, we'd still love to connect.

PRN Can Be a Great Way To

  • Supplement your current income
  • Keep your clinical skills sharp
  • Work additional hours without changing jobs
  • Add variety to your current setting
  • Stay connected to patient care
  • Get to know AdvantageCare without making a full-time commitment
