Job Description

  • Physical Therapist (PT) – Part Time
  • Christ the King Manor | DuBois, PA
  • Up To A $5,000 Sign-On Bonus | Part-Time Schedule | Consistent Hours
  • Want meaningful PT work without committing to a full-time schedule?

AdvantageCare Rehabilitation is hiring a Part-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team at Christ the King Manor in DuBois, Pennsylvania.

This could be the perfect opportunity for a Physical Therapist who wants the consistency of a regular schedule with the flexibility of part-time hours—without having to piece together unpredictable PRN shifts.

You'll have the opportunity to become part of an established rehab team, build relationships with your patients, and use your clinical expertise to help adults and older adults regain strength, mobility, confidence, and independence.

And we're offering a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for this Part-Time PT opportunity!

Why Physical Therapists Choose AdvantageCare

AdvantageCare Rehabilitation has been providing rehabilitation services for more than 23 years, and we're proud to be therapist-founded and therapist-led.

Therapy isn't simply one department within our company. Rehabilitation is what we do.

That means we understand the importance of clinical judgment, strong rehab leadership, interdisciplinary collaboration, and giving therapists the support they need to focus on their patients.

What You Can Expect

A consistent part-time opportunity. Enjoy regularly scheduled hours without the commitment of a traditional 40-hour workweek.

Clinical autonomy. You're the Physical Therapist. Your clinical expertise and judgment matter when determining what your patients need to progress.

A collaborative rehab environment. Work alongside PTAs, OTs, COTAs, SLPs, nursing and other members of the care team.

The ability to follow your patients' progress. Unlike occasional PRN coverage, a consistent part-time schedule allows you to establish relationships with your patients and see the results of your treatment over time.

Support from people who understand rehabilitation. Our therapist-led model means our clinical leaders understand both the rewards and challenges of providing great therapy.

Opportunities to grow. If your availability or career goals change in the future, AdvantageCare continues to grow and believes in developing talent from within.

  • $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • We know experienced Physical Therapists have choices, and we're serious about finding the right PT to join this team.
  • That's why we're offering a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus with this Part-Time Physical Therapist position.
  • If you've been considering adding consistent hours to your schedule—or making a change from your current role—this may be the opportunity worth exploring.
  • What Will You Do as a Physical Therapist?

As a PT at Christ the King Manor, you'll evaluate and treat patients with a variety of functional and mobility needs while developing individualized plans designed around what matters most to each person.

Your Role Will Include

  • Performing comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations
  • Developing individualized plans of care and functional goals
  • Addressing strength, balance, gait, transfers, endurance and mobility
  • Providing therapeutic exercise and functional mobility training
  • Working on fall prevention and safety
  • Assessing and recommending appropriate assistive devices
  • Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed
  • Supervising and collaborating with Physical Therapist Assistants
  • Educating patients, families and caregivers
  • Working closely with the interdisciplinary care team

Completing Accurate and Timely Clinical Documentation

Most importantly, you'll help people work toward something incredibly important: being able to move more safely and independently through their everyday lives.

Why Christ the King Manor?

If you enjoy working with older adults and individuals with complex rehabilitation needs, this setting gives you the opportunity to use a broad range of your Physical Therapy skills.

Your patients may be working to regain function following hospitalization, illness, surgery, injury, weakness, falls, or a decline in mobility.

That means no two patients—or treatment plans—are exactly alike.

It's an environment where a Physical Therapist can combine clinical knowledge with creativity, encouragement, and relationship-based care.

And because you'll have a consistent part-time presence in the building, you'll have the opportunity to really become part of the rehab team and see the progress your patients make.

  • The Sweet Spot Between Full Time and PRN
  • Maybe you don't want another full-time position.
  • But maybe PRN doesn't give you the consistency you're looking for either.
  • Part time can give you the best of both.
  • This opportunity may be especially attractive if you're looking to:
  • Maintain a consistent weekly schedule
  • Supplement another part-time position
  • Transition away from a traditional full-time schedule
  • Continue practicing while creating more room in your personal schedule
  • Add steady income without relying solely on PRN availability
  • Remain connected to patient care while maintaining greater flexibility
  • Let's talk about what you're looking for and whether the schedule could be a fit.

Experienced PT? We'd Love to Meet You. Newer PT? Let's Talk.

  • We're interested in meeting Physical Therapists at different stages of their careers.
  • If you're an experienced PT, bring your clinical knowledge and ideas to a team where your expertise is valued.

If you're a newer Physical Therapist, this setting can provide valuable experience working with geriatrics, medically complex patients, functional mobility, balance, gait and interdisciplinary rehabilitation.

What We're Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current or eligible Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with PTAs and the interdisciplinary care team
  • Skilled nursing, geriatric or rehabilitation experience is a plus, but not required
  • A patient-first approach to therapy
