Job Description
Join Our Team as a (PRN) Occupational Therapist (OT)
We are seeking a compassionate and flexible Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals on a PRN basis. In this role, you will provide person-centered care focused on improving residents’ independence, safety, and quality of life through meaningful daily activities and functional outcomes.

Your Impact as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
* Consult with patients to evaluate their physical condition and its impact on daily occupations, well-being, and quality of life
* Assess and interpret patient evaluations and test results
* Develop individualized treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques to maximize performance in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)
* Assess patients’ home and living environments and recommend modifications based on their needs and capabilities
* Recommend adaptive equipment and provide training to support independence and safety
* Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care
* Monitor patient response to treatment and modify interventions as clinically appropriate in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
* Provide clinical education and support to patients, family members, and caregivers
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care
* Complete documentation thoroughly and timely in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations
* Comply with all applicable rules, regulations, and procedures
* Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab

What Makes You a Great FIT
* Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy license
* In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
* Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred
* Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices
* Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
* Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs
* Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical decision-making skills

Requirements
Candidates must hold an active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy license and be in good standing with regulatory agencies. Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting is preferred, along with proficiency in clinical documentation.
