BCBA | Aspen and Roaring Fork Valley

At Thrive Collaborative, strong relationships guide good care. We’re looking for an experienced BCBA who enjoys getting to know children and families, coaching interventionists, and helping skills grow in everyday life.

You’ll join a small, multidisciplinary team serving the Roaring Fork Valley. Most client services are in Aspen, with additional work in Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs.

The role

• Design individualized, naturalistic programs around client strengths and family priorities.
• Provide direct intervention and coach caregivers, educators, and interventionists.
• Use observation and data to adapt care, develop behavior plans, and coordinate with client teams.

The workweek is 40 hours, with a 25-hour billable target. The other 15 hours are for travel, documentation, planning, collaboration, and other responsibilities. You’ll have access to experienced colleagues in ABA, speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, and ESDM.

• What you’ll bring
• Current BCBA certification and a relevant master’s degree.

At least 3 years of independent BCBA practice, including programming, supervision, and caregiver or provider coaching.

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and ability to work independently while seeking consultation.
• Reliable transportation for services across the valley.

Experience with NET, PRT, ESDM, or related naturalistic approaches is welcome. The role includes active participation in intervention and, where essential, lifting up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule and benefits

We use a Monday–Friday block schedule with appointment availability between 8 a. m. and 5:30 p. m. Evening sessions occur only when a client needs support with evening routines. Indirect work may be done from home; telehealth is used when clinically appropriate. Travel between clients is reimbursed at the IRS mileage rate.
