Pathologist Assistant PT

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pathology Assistant to support pathologists in the examination, processing, and documentation of surgical and tissue specimens. Responsibilities

* Assist with gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens

* Accession, label, and process tissue specimens

* Prepare and document specimen descriptions and measurements

* Submit tissue sections for histologic examination

* Maintain accurate laboratory records and reports

* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards

* Assist with specimen tracking, storage, and disposal

* Support laboratory quality improvement initiatives

* Maintain laboratory supplies and equipment

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related field required

* PA(ASCP) certification preferred

* Previous pathology, histology, or laboratory experience preferred

* Strong organizational and communication skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
