About the Role

Join Physicians Practice Enhancement LLC as a Pathologist Assistant - Hospital - Per diem in United States. Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking a Pathologist Assistant for a per diem position for a hospital in Freehold, NJ. Hospital Specimen experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Perform gross examination and dissection of surgical pathology specimens according to established protocols.

Assist pathologists during autopsies, including preparation and documentation of findings.

Prepare and process tissue samples for microscopic evaluation, ensuring proper labeling and preservation.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of specimens, procedures, and findings in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant biological science or health

related field.

Completion of an accredited Pathologists’ Assistant training program.

Certification as a Pathologists’ Assistant (PA) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent.

Work Schedule
