Key Responsibilities

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides mental health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist. They also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver mental health services within a correctional setting.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an active, unrestricted Pennsylvania CRNP medical license and DEA registration, along with ANCC or AANP psychiatric certification. At least one year of prescribing experience and the ability to pass a security clearance are required.
