Summary of Job & Facility Description
- Run 25 rooms daily, Medical direction model.
- Level 2 Trauma Hospital
- The Medical Director of Anesthesia is responsible for serving as the primary liaison between NorthStar, hospital administration and anesthesia staff. This person is responsible for assuring the ongoing development and implementation of policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of medical staff services at his/her facility.
- The Medical Director will be responsible for the medical leadership, clinical oversight and patient care for the anesthesia department.
- Cases include: orthopedic, neuro, neurovascular, cardiac, thoracic, OB (tertiary high risk OB referral center), general, ophthalmology, urology, ENT, oncology.

Key Responsibilities
The Medical Director serves as the primary liaison between NorthStar, hospital administration, and anesthesia staff while overseeing clinical operations and patient care. They are responsible for developing policies, setting clinical objectives, and mentoring staff to ensure high-quality anesthesia services.
Requirements
Candidates must hold ABA or AOBA certification and possess a valid state medical license. A strong background in anesthesia business and proven leadership experience in inspiring teams are required.
