Job Description

Mayo Clinic Health System Department of Cardiovascular Medicine in Eau Claire,
WI, is seeking an electrophysiologist to join its team of patient-focused,
high-performing, cardiovascular professionals.  The electrophysiologist will
join a team of 12 electrophysiologist, 10 non-invasive cardiologists, 3
interventional cardiologists, 3 cardiovascular surgeons, and 12 nurse
practitioners and physician assistants. The longevity of our cardiovascular team

The practice itself is unique in that it offers opportunities to collaborate
both electronically and in-person with cardiology and electrophysiology
colleagues throughout all of Mayo Clinic.  Candidates will also be considered
for leadership opportunities in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine,
commiserate with training and experience. This avails a wealth of knowledge and
perspective to any individual seeking this role.  Our revolutionary
technological systems in Eau Claire allow for EP procedures to be completed with
zero or minimal fluoroscopy.  In addition, Eau Claire’s hybrid cardiac suite and
connected service line with La Crosse hub creates an extraordinary opportunity
for collaboration with colleagues during complex EP procedures.
This position is the only electrophysiology practice in northwest Wisconsin. 
Our regional practice includes over 200 primary care providers as a referral
base, however referrals also originate in non-Mayo Clinic practices throughout
this part of the state.  The practice serves a geographic area of approximately
400,000 people.

Qualifications

Candidates must be board certified/board eligible in CV Disease and
Electrophysiology, and able to obtain WI State Medical License.
