Key Responsibilities
- Provide neurology consults for residents with neurological conditions
- Evaluate and manage conditions including stroke, Parkinson’s disease, seizures, neuropathy, dementia, and movement disorders
- Perform neurological examinations and cognitive assessments
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests including imaging and lab studies
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a long
- term care or skilled nursing facility (Hospital/outpatient office experience will also be considered)
- Active and unrestricted NP license
- DEA license required
