Description

This is a full-time, on-site position designed for an Associate-level physician who is ready to make a meaningful impact in patient care. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced healthcare professionals, provide comprehensive medical services, and contribute to healthy outcomes for our patients.

In this role, you will be responsible for the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of adult patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. You will work in a collaborative environment that values evidence-based medicine, compassion, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical care to adult patients in an outpatient and/orsetting consistent with internal medicine practice.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, infections, injuries, and other health conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient history, symptoms, and test results.
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work, imaging, and other procedures as appropriate.
Prescribe medications, therapies, and other treatments, monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans as needed.
Coordinate patient care with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive continuity of care.
Provide patient education on preventive care, healthy lifestyle choices, and disease management strategies.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, case reviews, and departmental meetings to enhance clinical outcomes.
Adhere to all applicable healthcare regulations, patient safety protocols, and medical practice standards.

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine.
Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine.
Valid, unrestricted medical license in the applicable state; active DEA registration preferred.
Experience as an Internal Medicine Physician at an Associate level, preferably in a medical practice or hospital setting.
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical documentation best practices.
Commitment to continuous learning, evidence-based medicine, and high standards of patient care and safety.

Schedule: 4-day workweek

1:9 beeper call rotation

Daily Volume: 15-17 patients

Support Staff: APP and medical assistants

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified
