Job Description
General Dentist – General & Cosmetic Dentistry
Location: Portland, Texas
Altius Dental is seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join our established practice in Portland, Texas. We are looking for a well-rounded provider who is confident performing general and cosmetic dentistry and is comfortable treating both adults and children when needed.
The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while creating personalized treatment plans that address each patient’s oral health and cosmetic goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Provide general dental services, including fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions
- Perform cosmetic procedures such as veneers, bonding, teeth whitening, and smile makeovers
- Treat adult patients and pediatric patients as needed
- Educate patients and parents about treatment options and preventive care
- Maintain complete and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to provide an excellent patient experience
- Follow all clinical, safety, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Active Texas dental license in good standing
- Current professional liability insurance
- Experience or demonstrated ability in cosmetic dentistry
- Comfortable performing routine extractions and restorative procedures
- Comfortable treating children when scheduled
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and chairside manner
- Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care
