Compensation & Benefits

• Total Compensation Package: Valued between $94,900-$103,000.
• Annual Salary: $77,400–$83,000, based on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

Eyas Landing - Avondale offers a unique opportunity to provide speech therapy through our Merlin Day Academy, a fully integrated educational and therapeutic environment for children ages 6-14 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs.

As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Department Lead / Supervisor at Eyas Landing - Avondale, you will foster each child's speech, receptive and expressive language, feeding and swallowing needs.

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized therapy and therapeutic rotations.
• Implementing therapeutic approaches such as Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, Get Permission Approach, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM).
• Collaborating daily with occupational and physical therapists, and social workers.
• Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care.

Providing mentorship, clinical guidance, and performance feedback to Speech Therapists to ensure consistency in care delivery and growth.

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Required credentials to practice speech language pathology.
• Experience working with children and/or clients with special needs preferred.
• Competencies: bold contributor, holding other accountable, dealing with ambiguity, and developing employees.
