Job Description

Eyas Landing, a leading therapeutic clinic in Chicago, IL is seeking a skilled and compassionate Saturday-only Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multidisciplinary team of top therapists. About the Role

As a Saturday-only Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Eyas Landing, you will provide speech therapy to children and families in our clinic. You'll work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. You'll foster each child's speech, receptive and expressive language, feeding and swallowing needs through:

Providing individualized therapy

Implementing therapeutic approaches such as Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, Get Permission Approach, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM)

  • Collaborating with occupational and physical therapists, and social workers
  • Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care

Compensation

Competitive Hourly Rate: $35-40/hour

Schedule & Location

  • Dates: August-October
  • Schedule: Saturdays 9:00am - 2:30pm

Providers must work the full shift 9:00am-2:30pm (unless first or last session canceled, can also clock out if client canceled)

Providers must commit to 3, 4 or 5-month period. If they have more than 3 of 12 absences, they may not be considered for future opportunities

Location: 1409 W. Carroll Ave. Chicago, IL

Key Responsibilities

Provide individualized speech therapy to children with neurodiverse needs in a clinic setting. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists to ensure continuity of care and document patient progress.

Requirements

The candidate must be a Speech Language Pathologist available to work Saturdays from 9:00am to 2:30pm. A commitment to a 3 to 5-month period is required for this role.
