Addiction Therapist

Job Details: Job Location: Radiant South - Marion, IN, Education Level: Master's Degree, Salary Range: $55000.00 - $70000.00Salary, Radiant Health is looking for an Addictions Therapist to join our team and provide compassionate, person-centered care to individuals working toward recovery.

In this role, you’ll provide individual and group therapy, develop individualized treatment plans, support clients through challenges and crises, and work alongside a multidisciplinary team to help clients make meaningful progress.

Whether you already have addictions treatment experience or are ready to grow your skills in this area, we’ll support you in making a difference. What you will do: Competent to provide outpatient therapy (individual, family, couples and group therapies) in a time-limited manner.

Monitor and document clients progress throughout therapy Is competent or willing to be trained to work in addictions treatment Establish and maintain supportive, empathetic therapeutic relationship Provide crisis intervention and support when needed. Assist clients in developing coping strategies and life skills.

Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress. Competent in assessing the acuity of the outpatient unit when organizing and facilitating client care.

Work with a variety of populations and life altering events Complete HIPAA compliant documentation accurately and within organization timelines. Complete assessments, differential diagnosis updates, and mental status examinations in the outpatient and crisis service areas.

Ability to be self-directed in managing and coordinating services within the team and the organization. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in a mental health discipline. Licensed to practice in the State of Indiana or temporary permit. Experience in substance use disorder treatment and recovery. The ability to speak and hear or read lips is essential to communicate with clients, referral sources, peers, and others.
