Key Responsibilities
The Physician Assistant will examine patients, collect medical histories, and make tentative diagnoses for psychiatric issues. They will also interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe therapy or medication in collaboration with a supervising physician.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a current Illinois license and DEA registration, with a PMHNP or PA-C certification including a Psychiatric CAQ. Experience prescribing psychotropic medications in a psychiatric setting is required.
