Unit: Team-Based, Interdisciplinary Collaboration- As part of a smaller, close-knit team, effective collaboration is essential—not only among our immediate colleagues but also with the various departments we support.

Schedule: 3-11pm

Job Summary

At the direction of a radiologist or other providers, prepares patients and performs radiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology and operates imaging equipment. Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures.

Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives. Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary. Other duties as assigned

Experience Description

• One year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred.
• Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience.

Education Description

Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.

An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred but not required.

Special Skills Description

Self-motivated; ability to organize and prioritize well; ability to remain flexible and to reorganize priorities when emergencies arise.

Licensure Description

ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required.

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
