Physical Therapist Assistant Home Health

Join Acclaim Home Health as a Physical Therapist Assistant in our Worcester, MA location. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide compassionate and effective care to patients in their homes, helping them regain mobility and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery.
• Provide hands-on therapy and exercises to patients in their home environment.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and safety measures to promote healing and prevent injury.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient responses.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous home health experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a home-based setting.
• Reliable transportation for traveling to patient homes within the Worcester area.
