What You’ll Do
- Deliver physical therapy services under the treatment plan established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Help patients improve strength, balance, mobility, and function to support greater independence.
- Monitor progress and promptly communicate changes in condition or concerns to the Physical Therapist.
- Teach patients and caregivers exercises and techniques that support continued progress at home.
- Provide instruction on the safe use of canes, walkers, wheelchairs, prosthetics, and orthotics.
Deliver safe, high-quality care consistent with physician orders, clinical standards, and state practice guidelines.
What You’ll Bring
- A current, unrestricted Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant license.
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Six months or more of PTA experience preferred.
Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including assisting with patient positioning, transfers, and equipment.
Reliable transportation between patient homes and assigned work locations. If driving, a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required.
