- Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
$72,000 – $78,000/year + uncapped productivity bonus
About Little Land Since 2014, Little Land has helped children reach their potential through occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, and ABA all under one roof, next to our own sensory-rich play gym.
Why Clinicians Choose Little Land
A true salary. Your pay never drops for cancellations, no-shows, documentation, or admin time.
Weekdays only. Monday–Friday, no weekends required.
Real time off. Paid PTO, nine paid holidays.
One roof, whole child. Work side by side with OT, PT, speech, and ABA colleagues on shared kids.
Room to grow. A clear path into clinical leadership as our OT department expands.
The role Our Lead Occupational Therapist is a senior clinician who treats, teaches, and sets the example for our OT team. You will carry a pediatric caseload, supervise COTAs, and serve as the go-to clinical resource for your colleagues. You will report to our Executive Clinical Director and work closely with our Administrative Director on patient scheduling.
What You Will Do
- Evaluate and treat children from infancy through adolescence
- Supervise COTAs in line with Texas OT rules, including co-treats, documentation review, and plan-of-care oversight
- Mentor newer OTs through case consults, modeling sessions, and feedback
- Write clear, timely evaluations, plans of care, and progress notes that meet payer requirements
- Coach families with practical home programs that carry therapy into daily life
- Collaborate with our speech, PT, and ABA teams on shared clients
What You Bring
- Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
- Active Texas OT license (or eligibility) and NBCOT certification
- 3+ years of pediatric OT experience, outpatient clinic preferred
- Demonstrated leadership ability, such as supervising COTAs, mentoring therapists, or leading a clinical program
- Strong skills in sensory processing, fine motor, self-care, and developmental play
- Feeding, handwriting, or sensory integration training is a plus
What Success Looks Like
- Your caseload is full and your documentation and patient engagement sets the example for the team.
- The COTAs you supervise are confident, compliant, and growing.
- Colleagues come to you first with clinical questions.
How we lead Every Little Land leader is held to our ten Leadership Principles. As a lead, you will be expected to:
Own the outcome. Take responsibility for results, not just tasks.
Extend the line. Your authority comes from your role; build rapport with the team while keeping the objectivity to coach fairly.
Develop your people. Coach the COTAs and therapists you support.
Resolve conflict directly. Address friction at its source instead of letting it spread.
Receive feedback without defensiveness. Hear feedback about yourself, not just give it.
Schedule Monday–Friday, 9:00 a. m.–6:00 p. m., with a one-hour lunch. No weekends required. This is an in-person role at our Cedar Park clinic.
Benefits
Base salary of $72,000–$78,000 (based on experience), plus an uncapped quarterly productivity bonus. This is a true salaried role: your pay is never reduced for admin time, documentation, or patient cancellations and no-shows
- Health, dental, and vision insurance, with Little Land covering 50% of premiums
- Two weeks of paid time off
- Nine paid holidays
- CEU reimbursement paid by Little Land
- A clear path toward clinical leadership as our OT department grows
How to apply Submit your resume and a short note about a child or family whose progress you are proud of. Qualified candidates will be invited to meet our clinical leadership team.
Good to know This role requires a background check and the ability to work at floor level, lift and move children and equipment, and keep up with active kids. Little Land is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants of all backgrounds.
