Benaroya Services at Kline Galland is looking to immediately hire a Full-Time Social Worker to join our amazing Hospice and Palliative Care team. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a difference by supporting patients and families during some of life’s most important moments.
Service area: King County Eastside (Issaquah, Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Woodinville, Sammamish, and nearby communities) The Social Worker will provide a range of essential services to support the emotional, psychological, and social needs of patients and families receiving hospice and palliative care.
Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments Develop and implement plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support Coordinate resource referrals and community services Support patients and families navigating end-of-life care Provide care across multiple settings, including: Private residences Adult Family Homes Independent & Assisted Living communities Skilled Nursing Facilities
Qualifications
Master’s Degree MSW from an accredited program Minimum 2 years of social work experience 1 year in Hospice and/or Home Health preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in computer charting and documentation systems Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation

Key Responsibilities
The Social Worker will conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop care plans to support the emotional and psychological needs of hospice patients. They will also provide crisis intervention and coordinate community resources while working within an interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) and have at least two years of social work experience. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for travel to various patient care settings.
