Key Responsibilities
The neurosurgeon will perform medical reviews of health claims to provide interpretations and decisions regarding the appropriateness of services. They will also maintain proper credentialing and interact professionally with providers to discuss utilization review and appeal processes.
Requirements
Candidates must be Board Certified MDs or DOs with a current, unrestricted clinical license in New Jersey. They are required to have post-graduate experience in direct patient care and a strong understanding of managed care and utilization review standards.
