Experienced Social Worker – Family Safeguarding

Join Liquid Personnel as a Experienced Social Worker – Family Safeguarding in Swindon, United Kingdom. Our client is seeking highly experienced Social Workers to join its Family Safeguarding Service in Swindon. The service operates a “Pod” model, with five Social Workers and one Manager per pod, designed to enhance management oversight, peer support, and high‑quality practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Assessment: Undertake timely parenting and holistic assessments to inform the development of outcome-focused care plans.

• Court Work: Manage both private and public law court proceedings, including the initiation and completion of cases within strict court timescales.

• Permanency Planning: Achieve permanency for children, including drafting and executing plans for adoption where necessary.

• Risk Analysis: Identify and respond to complex risks, providing clear, analytical evidence of interventions within children’s records.

Requirements

• Social Work England registration and a recognized Social Work qualification.

• Experience Requirement: Minimum of 3 years Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) in a permanent statutory setting.

• Court Expertise: Proven track record of managing care proceedings and achieving permanency.

• Analytical Skills: Advanced ability to analyze risk and intervention impact.
