Key Responsibilities
The Nurse Educator develops and delivers standardized training programs and onboarding for staff within the Kansas DOC. They ensure clinical compliance and provide continuing education to maintain licensure and professional standards in correctional healthcare.
Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Education with at least 3 years of healthcare training experience and an active CPR certification. Registered Nurse licensure and experience in correctional healthcare are strongly preferred.
