Job description

A well-established gastroenterology practice is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join its outpatient team.
The ideal candidate will have direct GI experience in an outpatient practice or clinic setting. Candidates with hospital experience may also be considered if their background includes substantial outpatient GI clinic work.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage patients with gastrointestinal conditions
Conduct patient consultations, examinations, and follow-up visits
Develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
Review laboratory results, imaging, and other diagnostic information
Educate patients about their conditions and treatment plans
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Licensed Nurse Practitioner in New York State
Previous gastroenterology experience required
Outpatient or GI clinic experience required
Spanish-language skills are a plus
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative practice
