Key Responsibilities

The Reviewing Medical Officer evaluates cases for federal agencies to provide medical clearance for safety-sensitive positions and oversees occupational surveillance programs. They also provide expert medical consultation, participate in quality improvement assessments, and ensure compliance with federal health regulations.

Requirements

Candidates must be board-certified in occupational medicine, aerospace medicine, or a primary care specialty with at least five years of experience in occupational medicine. A current medical license and a minimum of two years of experience in an occupational clinic setting are required.
